Meet Our Team!
Meet the development team and hear some of our FAQ! Get to know who we are, how we came to be, what role each of us play in Bloggy Lane Ent., and other fun facts!
Hi I'm Millie! My roles on the team are Marketing Manager, Discord Manager, Website Manager, Sprite and Art Creator! I do most of the sprites for the Conversatiate. So anytime you see an up-close visual, or a full-body sprite of a character, that was probably me! I also created and designed the website and Discord server, and I plan a lot of the marketing! While I’m still transitioning into Bloggy Lane, I am working hard to get to where everyone else is! I first met June in D&D club in college, where me, June, and Broder were in the same D&D campaign! Me and June became friends instantly, and June has honestly been one of my best friends ever since. Through her, I met Broder, Robby, and Brantley, and I moved in with them around May 2026. Then, I started helping out with Bloggy Lane and became a part of the studio!
A little bit about my background: I originally wanted to go to college for singing, but when I got rejected from the music school at Belmont, I decided to do media and Entertainment, which is music business but slightly broader. I also minor in marketing! My studies have helped me most by clarifying what I want to do and don’t want to do with my life. In high school and middle school, I was incredibly passionate about art; however, later in my high school years, I was diagnosed with depression, and after being medicated for it, I lost a lot of my passion which made it hard figuring out what I actually wanted to do with my life. I did recover and, after close to a year of being off my medication, I gained my passion back and have worked very hard to get back to where I was! I now have all my creativity at my disposal and love doing anything creative, from making fliers to music, paintings, drawings, digital art, and many other things! I found that my biggest passion is animation, and I have started practicing it every day.
Bloggy Lane is honestly the starting point to gaining back a lot of my creativity. I joined BLE around May or June of 2026, and since then my creativity has bloomed; I've started making a lot more digital art in Aseprite and, now that I have an iPad, Procreate. I’ve also started practicing animation and am trying to do a 3-second animation every day, which you can find on my Instagram! I think I personally bring a lot of creativity and ideas to the team. They can be good or bad ideas, but they're still ideas and get everyone’s brains thinking!
Hey there, I'm June!! I am the co-founder of Bloggy Lane, and am working on our first game as the coder, and pixel artist, and help with the writing and overall story and design.
I was the one who chose RPG Maker MZ as the game engine and Aseprite as the pixel art software, and became self-taught in both. My path led me to gather the collection of RPG Maker plugins that we are using, fully design the visual novel format and standards as well as the style of the RPG segments of our game, and have a large hand in creating a lot of the plot and lore. I put plenty of hours into just learning the different software, and I’m still constantly working hard to improve.
To speak on how I reached this position, I have always had a deep interest in creating, but just didn’t know exactly what form was best for me. Throughout middle school and high school, I made songs on GarageBand, wrote comics, short stories, made YouTube videos, and tried drawing. Nothing ever really stuck, yet I kept craving creative self-expression. I ended up going to school for audio engineering, hoping to become a music producer, because that called to me most at the time. Over those 4 years, that shifted to a focus on sound design for TV and Film. Contributing to a piece of media that combines a symphony of different crafts into a meaningful, complete project is now my dream. This background helped me because it led me to co-found this very studio. Video games, as I have discovered, are that perfect blend of skills that I desire to perfect. It is why I’m not just doing one thing.
I met all the members of the team when I was in University! I met my other co-founder Robby in one of the first audio classes I ever took. In our first full conversation, we actually talked about our shared love for a video game we had both recently played! The rest is history and all that. I was able to meet Broder and Brantley cause they were Robby's friend's. Millie I met through DnD club, and we became close very quickly!
Bloggy Lane Entertainment is the true culmination of my experiences in creative expression that I have the privilege of sharing with my team of close friends. It is an opportunity to create projects that hold a piece of each of our souls, filled with our passion for the arts, that will hopefully deliver memorable and meaningful experiences.
We all bring various skills, humor, and creativity, but I believe that I personally bring my unending motivation to learn and create. It's a motivation that is not only fueled from within, but more so because I get to work with people that I love, and I want to honor and respect the fact that I have this team.
Hello, I am Broder, and I am the lead audio engineer for Bloggy Lane.
I studied Audio Engineering and Japanese in school.
I provide most of the sound design for the game, as well as mixing vocals and music for the game.
This project is great experience for future projects that I wish to work on.
I bring shrewd and grounded ideas and personality to the team and project. You may call me blunt.
I met all of the members in college and have been friends with them for years and years to come.
Hi, I’m Brantley- the 3D Artist and Producer for Bloggy Lane.
I met the rest of the team when I studied film in college! I primarily have a post-production background, but have dabbled in directing and acting. I have a history with motion graphics from editing and learned a lot about producing a project and getting everything to come together. Mainly, my role as the producer is to support the team wherever I can. If there’s something no one else knows how to do or doesn’t have time for I’m the guy for the job. This also means I am supervising everyone’s work on our projects and making sure things are getting done with the game. I’m also tackling all of the 3d art and real-life photography for the game by using my camera skills learning Blender for the first time!
More than anything, for me Bloggy Lane is mostly a place to work on something creative with my friends. So often I find myself working on projects just because they’re a job to do, but this is a project I’ve really been able to pour all my creative juices into. It’s been great to see all the unique perspectives my friends can bring to a creative project as well! Robby is an excellent writer, and knows how to really embody our characters and world. June is always overcoming new challenges and teaching our team new things I never thought possible. Millie is our team cheerleader, making sure everyone is working hard and staying positive. Broder makes our Hello Fresh.
Hi! This is Robby, I’m a writer and programmer for Bloggy Lane. I’m responsible for outlining scenes and writing dialogue, so most of my work is focused on ironing out game concepts and making sure voices sound natural, events have good pacing, etc. I spend the other half of my time helping code the visual novel portions of the game. I’m an audio engineer by training, but my love for storytelling has translated well into my position with the team.
Bloggy Lane has been a platform to explore my own creative outlets while also working towards a greater goal with a team of like-minded friends. It’s a place where we can comfortably throw ideas at each other and see what sticks, which has been invaluable in discovering the team’s voice as well as my own. We all met and became friends in college, which has made bringing games and ideas to life all the more fun.
When and why did you actually decide to start making a game together instead of just talking about it?
After college, we had just come off of putting in a ton of hours to finish final projects and graduation requirements, and were left with a lot of empty time. We wanted to channel that extra energy into creating something we felt real passion for: a video game. It was a slow, gradual process to get up to speed, but once we started brainstorming ideas and finding our rhythm, everything began to fall into place.
Where did the name Bloggy Lane Ent. come from?
There was one night towards the end of our final semester where me (June) and Robby were across from each other in little audio editing booths working on an assignment. We were editing and mixing the dialogue in a scene from a random student film from a previous year. It was about a lovesick man searching for a specific witch, the witch on Boggy Lane. It was said really quickly, and we had to play it back countless times as we edited. We misheard it as Bloggy Lane as we mimicked it in increasingly delirious voices. To me, that was a beautiful moment when a late night spent on one of the more monotonous sound-design tasks became a cherished memory that gave me more passion for the industry. That's one of the things Bloggy Lane represents for me—the most mundane parts of working on this game that still bring me joy and fulfillment, because I get to work with the people I love. And we chose Entertainment because that makes the acronym BLE, which is arguably a very fun thing to say.
It’s was supposed to be BOGGY LANE! Boggy Lane. The whole thing came from them mishearing the audio. Smh -Brantley
What’s it like working on a game with your friends?
Working on a game with your friends means wearing two very, very distinct hats. We’re talking baseball cap and… uh… salsa chip hat from Despicable Me 2.
I’m trying to say there needs to be some division between friend and coworker. I don’t want to tell my friend I think they are wrong, but at the same time, I don’t want to tell my coworker I have no notes when I do! Sometimes it’s best to just ask- are you asking me as your friend or as a member of Bloggy Lane?
Besides the actual logistics of working on a game with friends, this work feels ecstatic. Working on a game, or any narrative project, with the people closest to you feels like a dream come true. It feels like knowing them inside and out. There is nothing I’d rather do than sit at home on a cozy Sunday night with friends, consuming far too much alcohol and debating our ideas for our shared vision. In the give-and-take of artistic vision, I learn so much about these people: their dreams and desires, the beliefs that coalesce into a worldview, and the ways you can make them feel loved. You pay attention to all of it.
Working on a game with your friends… It means the world to me. And it is an endeavor I will happily pursue as a reason to live, grow, and strive toward. Bloggy Lane is more than a game studio; it is a covenant that Iwill live for the support, adoration, and camaraderie of my friends.
